This has become one of my very favorite autumn photographs. Curiously, it doesn't appear in my printed portfolio yet, but I'm thinking seriously to add it into my print book.
The photo itself was shot during the early morning hours after a snowstorm. Interestingly, the grass was still very green, and the sun was shining so brightly, it really set off the golden colors of the leaves, making the upright leaf on the left, almost appear as a candle flame.
Oddly I have never been able to exploit an opportunity to shoot very many photographs of Autumn's colors, as circumstances seem to always keep me away from my cameras during Fall. I'm hoping this year, I will be able to find my way to capturing Autumn's colors to both 35mm film and digital mediums.
